Coca-Cola of Northern New England is seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking Utility Operator to join our team.



The Utility Operator acts as a vital back-up for multiple positions within a production center including Machine / Filler Operator and Forklift Operator. When acting as a Machine Operator the Utility Operator is responsible for operating various manual and automated equipment in the production process. When acting as a Forklift Operator the Utility Operator is responsible for moving product or materials using powered tools and vehicles. 



  • Machine / Filler Operator Back-up:
    • Set up fillers and other machinery for production and ensure all necessary materials are available
    • Operate and monitor production equipment and replenish materials as needed
    • Visually inspect production run and document results
    • Determine and report malfunctions to the appropriate parties
    • Maintain clean and safe work area at all time
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures


  • Forklift Operator Back-up:
    • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated areas
    • Load and unload trailers and/or route trucks
    • Move product and/or materials manually as required
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures


  • Support the efficient operation of the warehouse:
    • Assist with daily housekeeping and maintenance including sweeping, mopping and rubbish removal
    • Run floor scrubber


  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management



  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • 1-3 years of general work experience required
  • 1+ years of prior warehouse or production experience preferred
  • Forklift certification required
  • Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment and / or knowledge of industrial technology a plus
  • Must have the ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
  • Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
